Abstract Florals

Dress: Ann Taylor (gift); Shoes: Jimmy Choo;
 Bangles: Silpada; Shades: Marc by Marc Jacobs via Rue La La

This is the kind of dress that you don't realize how amazing it is until you try it on! I've seen it several times online, and on Kate Hudson their spokesperson, but I just kind of passed it by. Then, Ann Taylor had a huge 50% off sale and this dress just happened to be on sale and it was the only one left in my size! AND, my generous mother just happened to purchase it for me. Leary, I tried it on and fell in love instantly.

The abstract florals make it look like a painting. And I love all the different design elements. The asymmetrical hem line, the black piping along the front and sides and the self-belt at the waist. I think this will look great with a thin black belt or colored pumps for a mix. I'm thinking either my fuchsia Jimmy Choo's or my yellow Nicole Miller's. A royal blue wouldn't be bad either. And, for a chilly day or evening, a denim jacket would like super cute to help tone it down to a little more casual in appearance.

See, it is an amazing dress!

Girl you can pull off some patterns! This dress looks great on you. I love the color palette and can think of so many ways someone could wear this!
