hi everyone!

i'm excited to be here on style my way today!! i met andrea at kansas city fashion week - and was so excited to meet her and check out her blog. i adore andrea's style and the way she styles and re-styles her clothes, season to season. so i was ecstatic when she asked me to guest post on her blog!

by the way, i'm caitlin and i write for gussied up. it's a fashion and life style blog based in kansas city.  i grew up in oklahoma and graduated with a degree in apparel merchandising and a minor in studio art. i met my husband kev (my photographer) at osu and moved to kc once we got married. i started gussied up as a new year's resolution. it's a space where i can share all things me - and help others find their sense of style.

i've started a styling business to help women know what works best for them and their life. i love when my clients can fall in love with their clothes, again.  i teach them that if you don't want to wear it, than why do you own it? i'm a huge proponent of re-selling and donating clothes, it's like clothes karma. if you're interested in styling services (wardrobe clean out, new outfits, or professional looks) i would love to work with you. check out all my services under my styling services tab on gussied up.

i created this look for a casual day look for work. i like to wear a dark pair of denim jeans to create a casual look by wear a great knit tee. personally i'm not a huge fan of camo - but i just adored how it looked with the stripe sleeve. i added the leopard belt and gobs of jewels to add some glam and sass. and how excited is everyone to wear sandals! yay spring!!

thanks for stopping by and letting me share my outfit and ideas with you!!

xo,
