Vintage Sweater Dress - Styled My Way

I finally went vintage shopping over the weekend and came home with an armful of fabulous finds! I did pass on an incredible skirt and cape set and when I went back the next day it was gone! As I've been told, never hesitate on your vintage finds! I have learned my lesson!

This dress was also an item I didn't purchase on the first day and was ecstatic that it was still there. At first I wasn't sure how to style it. I'm sure that the original owner styled this fabulously in the 60s with nude legs, a beehive "do" and frosted lips. I didn't want to look costumey so I opted for a t-neck, tights and pumps. I love the little bow belt which added just a hint of girly! (This dress is actually a little more powder blue that turquoise. A true tone is seen below.) 

This is more the true color of the dress. It appears super bright in the above photos. LOVE! And how cute is that little bow belt?
