There are so many things I love about this look and this photo "session". First, let's talk about the look. Honestly, I wore this skirt all fall and winter, however only one photo was captured (see below). The top was one of my favorites and still is. Actually, both pieces are. I am obsessed with leather, real or faux, this season and will make every effort to photograph this skirt more this season!

 

Now about the session. I asked my dad to take the photos when I went to pick up McKinley. Thankfully, he agreed. Actually, he's taken tons of photos seen here, here, here and here. But on this particular day, McKinley was running around, talking about cars, waving at people as they drove by and simply acting goofy. It literally put a smile, and laugh, on my face the entire time! And, put me in the best mood! I think you can see it on my face, no?

Sorry for the absense over the last couple of days! We had our big Drink Pink event on Monday and I was home sick yesterday! Still sick today but wanted to get this post up!

 

I love a classic black and white look. I threw this on over the weekend and felt chic even though it was super casual. White jeans are a great investment piece. The blank canvas allows for multiple looks and can truly be worn dressy or casz. The top is an oldie but goodie! Purchased on a trip to New York in 2008, it's still on trend today!

Sorry for my absence last week. The stomach flu has plagued our house since last Tuesday so I've been playing mommy nurse all week! I so hope we are all on the mend. I'm ready to start February with a bang!

This was actually the last outfit I wore last week. I am on a winter white and black kick right now and who can blame me. This dress is fabulous! I love the zippers at the hem! Such a great detail. And the dress is so comfortable! It will be great in the spring with shoes of all pops of color.  

 

 

This cuff is MAJ! I love the crystal broach and its so lovely paired with a double strand of pearls.

A Keeper!

I love this dress and I wonder why? Because it kind of reminds me of this dress! Same designer, same cut! That's probably why! I purchased this while pregnant, another one of those purchases, in hopes that it would fit last year. Well it didn't, but it does this year! And, when your husband tells you that he really likes that dress and that he thinks you look pretty, its a keeper! 

Because of the simple black and white, I really wanted to add color. And, the only colorful summer shoes are these sunny yellow pumps. I'm hoping to find a yummy apple green or bright orange. Maybe end of summer sales will produce something amazing!
