Every time I wear this jumpsuit, it makes me so happy! I think it's the bold, crazy, incredibly cheerful floral that just makes me smile. This may be a very memorable prints, a piece that is limited in its styling, and the most far out print imaginable, but I don't care. It's my happy place!

The Beach Is Still Calling

We have had the most incredible weather this week! Low 80s, hardly any humidity, and it has resulted in plenty of time spent playing outdoors. Luckily, the weather has been so pleasant that I was able to sport this awesome California beaches sweatshirt. I am honestly missing SoCal something awful right now, so when I wear this shirt, I feel a little bit closer to the area. Maybe next year we will be playing on one of those beaches on vacay!

This go around, I paired it with bright shorts and a striped tee. I liked the stripes and the graphic print together. I'm totally into mixed prints and continue to explore the options! For fall, I'm thinking skinny jeans and booties or pairing it with a pencil skirt and pumps! Now that's a look I can't wait to try!

August Tres Chic - Styling Booties

This month's installment of Tres Chic is all about booties! We realize it's only August, but it's never too early to wear booties! They come in all different shapes, sizes, and heel heights. They can be closed or peep toe, and come in leather or suede. With so many options, we need more than just the winter months to style them. What I love about Tres Chic is that you get three different perspectives which allows for optimum styling ideas!

Caitlin of Gussied Up looks darling in a romper, vest, and gray booties!! This is the perfect example of how to transition your summer wardrobe to fall! And her accessories are maj! I tell her all the time that she has the best necklace collection!

Speaking of Anthropologie, I purchased this top a couple of weeks ago during their big summer sale. I love the soft fabric, the perforated faux leather, and the fact that it's a perfect piece to transition into fall. I love how it pops against the white denim, something I haven't been wearing much of this summer, and I can't wait to style it for fall. I'm thinking skinny jeans and tall boots. And, it's on sale right now for $30! (Speaking of bargains, let's talk about my shoes. I picked these babies up for $13!! That's right, $13! I love them!)

Ever put something on in your mind and only hoped it worked once you actually put it on? That's what happened with this look. Remember when I posted about the trend of booties with cut-offs a couple of weeks ago? Well, I have imagined this look ever since, but I've been so afraid to actually to wear it. That is until earlier this week. And I hate that I waited so long!

I am obsessed with the look. Not actually my look, but this BOHO look in general. I feel like I should be on the beach in Venice, CA just hanging with friends and waiting for that bonfire to light up. And, I felt this look gave me a bit of attitude and a confidence that I haven't felt in a really long time. You may just see me in this in every post until winter!

I've worn these shorts off and on all summer, but have never really had the right look to blog about....until now! Sometimes adding the right piece just brings it all together and that's what happened when I threw on this vest. I often forget about it, but with transition to fall just around the corner, I think this vest will be perfect come fall!
