Just Words....

Blazer: LOFT; Tee: J.Crew; Pants: J.Crew Factory; Shoes: ShoeDazzle; Bangles: Silpada;
Earrings: Silpada; Shades: MARC by Marc Jacobs

The first time I wore these pants, I paired it with this shirt and my denim jacket. I never got a photo. So when I pulled these pants out yesterday, I remembered I had this shirt, and I really wanted to recreate the original look. However, I decided to add the black blazer to dress it up it a bit. Adding tons of silver bangles and metallic pumps kept everything neutral. And really, don't you want all eyes on the tee? It speaks volumes without saying a word....

Spring Continues

Top: J.Crew (gift); Skirt: Kate Spade; Shoes: ShoeDazzle; Handbag: J.Crew (gift);
 Belt: Ann Taylor; Necklace: Banana Republic; Shades: MARC by Marc Jacobs:
Lip Color: Mary Kay Mystic Plum; Nail Color: Essie Size Matters

What a difference three hours makes! When I left work it was sunny, but by the time I got home for photos it had completely clouded over. However, it was still a warm and gorgeous evening. (Today is another story!)

I am continuing my spring wardrobe quest! I'm loving light weight pieces, bare legs, and the sense of freedom one gets when they don't have to wear tights and heavy winter coats. This little top was a gift from Christmas and I've been dying to wear it! I love the print, the cut-out details at the neckline, and how delicate the fabric is. I found this whole look incredible feminine. And I'm thinking I need something a little lighter in color when styling the top again.

The Skirt: Before and After

How super cute are these shoes? I kind of forgot about them over the winter. I was in such a bootie craze that heels took a backseat. What you can't tell from the photo, is that in direct light they pick up a pinky/purple iridescent tint. And the gray tone lends itself to being a great neutral!

What pieces are you breaking out for these spring like days?

Fall Trend Find - Cap Toe Pumps

Shirt: J.Crew Factory (similar);
Skirt: White House/Black Market (similar);
Belt: J.Crew (similar); Shoes: Shoe Dazzle;
Bracelets: Fossil, Ralph Lauren, my mom's;
Necklaces: Leaf by Gorjana; M Pendant gift

I was so sure that I blogged about this skirt last year but I can't find a single photo or post. I guess that means its new, right? I love this skirt, as I searched for it all fall! I wanted to find the perfect leather skirt. My first one was too short and too tight! Sometimes online shopping backfires. Not this purchase though!

I originally paired this with a white button down and my hubby told me I looked like a hostess or waitress so I nixed that look right away. Not that there is anything wrong with either profession! Just not the look I was going for. So, I added a chambray button down instead. I like the look of leather and denim together. A little rock and roll for work never hurts!

And, check out the second fall trend I found for $39.95! That's right! I got these amazing cap toe pumps for under $40! I have been shopping around and couldn't find a pair for under $100 and was willing to pay it. That was until I found these on Shoe Dazzle! See, you can find trends for less! You just have to be willing to look.
